How to Help

Ways to support the cats, big and small.

Fostering

Because we don’t have a shelter building, we cannot rescue a pet unless we have a foster home available. The more foster homes we have, the more animals we can rescue. When you provide a foster home, the pet's veterinary care is all covered by ARC Rescue. All you need is a spare room and the time and love to give to a pet in need. While pets are in foster care, we promote them to search for their perfect forever home.

Condo Cleaning

Our pets are rotated between foster homes and the cat condos in three locations of Petco. The Petco condos allow them to be seen by more people, providing a greater chance at adoption. We are always in need of volunteers to maintain these cat condos, which takes less than 1 hour per week. Condo cleaning entails emptying litter boxes, filling the food and water bowls, making sure the cats look healthy and happy, and providing love and attention!

Monetary donations

Monetary donations are greatly appreciated and help keep our rescue group alive. Each pet we rescue is taken to the vet for a full examination, vaccinations, and spay/neuter, which costs about $360. Our adoption fee is only $165, so we rely on donations from people like you to help close that gap. Pets often need additional costly vet care, like treating illnesses, or even surgery. All donations go toward veterinary care so we can save more pets.
