SUPPORT THE CATS

Donate

ARC is a volunteer-run, foster-based cat rescue serving North Texas. 284 animals rescued in 2025 - every one examined, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and cared for in a foster home.

Vetting one cat costs us about $360. The adoption fee is $165. We start nearly $200 short on every cat we take in - your donations close that gap.

Gifts fund vet care first - exams, testing, vaccines, spay/neuter and emergencies - then food, litter, and supplies for our foster homes.

And that is a healthy cat, before food and litter. Many arrive needing more than the basics - treatment for injuries, infections, and the other rough starts rescue cats come with. Counting those, the average works out to about $360 per cat, against a $165 adoption fee.

A white-and-gray mother cat and her two kittens sitting together on a pet scale during a weigh-in

A special little family from Mission, TX

This mom and her babies were rescued from a hoarder’s garage in the heat of a South Texas summer. One kitten arrived sick with a URI and the other needed eye surgery. All three are now in their perfect forever homes!

Lives you help save

Tag and Copper, two tiny kittens, asleep curled together in a round pet bed

Tag & Copper: the tiniest survivors

Tag & Copper were found by an ARC foster alone, emaciated, and hours from death in rural Arkansas. She brought them home, getting them the vet care and attention they needed. They are now two years old and thriving!

Stephen, an orange tabby, rolling on his back for a chin scratch, a healing wound visible on his belly

Stephen: a lover, not a fighter

Stephen was found on the streets, beat up with cuts, scabs, and open wounds. Despite what he’d been through, he was already extremely loving. He is now in incredible shape and living his best life as a spoiled house cat!

Other ways to help
